Bellissima Music Academy Guidelines
Registration Form
Recital Policy
Students are expected to perform at Student Recitals. Recitals are the product of 12-13 weeks or more of preparation and are treated as exams demonstrating what students have accomplished. The dress for all recitals is formal. Students who have missed more than two lessons in a semester may not participate in recitals
Cancellation Policy
Teachers are not required to make up lessons/classes missed by students, nor reschedule a missed make up lesson/class. If a teacher is absent make-ups can be made the last week of each term or at another mutually agreed upon time. A notification of 24 hours prior to canceling lessons is required.
Payments of Fees
Tuition is due at the beginning of each month before lessons begin. After acceptance to the studio you will receive our Studio Policy and payment information.
Piano Accompanist for recitals, performance classes and/or lessons is not included in the fee and should be paid directly to the pianists you will be working with.
Refund Policy
Refunds are not available for lessons that are not taken and “carry-over” lessons may not be given. Refunds are made only under the most extraordinary circumstances and if approved would be sent within 30 days.
Dismissal Policy
Bellissima Music Academy reserves the right to dismiss any student due to lack of interest, frequent absences, frequent tardiness, behavioral problems, delinquency in payment of fees and failure to abide by policies.
Photo Release
You or your child might be photographed during classes, ensembles, or private lessons. These photos are to be used by the Academy on the website or other publication materials. In such cases, there will be no compensation, recognition, or acknowledgement.
